The dry verges on this house, the place where the roof meets the wall at a gable end, were in a bad state. The mortar was cracked and missing in some places and some of the wooden soffit boards were rotten. This meant that it was possible for damp to get into the roof space. Jones uPVC replaced the soffit boards with uPVC and fitted uPVC dry verges. I think you will agree looks much better as well as providing long term protection for this house.
