An ideal way of solving problems with mortar on gable ends and verges
Over time the existing mortar on the roof gable ends will crack and crumble through rain and frost damage allowing moisture to penetrate the roof space. In turn, this will draw damp into the roof cavity. In extreme cases this can cause black mould on internal walls. By fitting plastic verges the gable end not only looks attractive but will put an end to all further maintenance and damp problems.
